D minor and lydian guitar improvisation
Oct 23, 2021
In this guitar improvisation there are two modes in the backing track. The first one is D minor or aeolian, the second one is D lydian. In this kind of musical situation we have to follow the chords with our soloing. So I used the D aeolian and lydian scales. It can be challanging at first, but it has great musical potential.
The time signature is 3/4 which is also a little more challanging than 4/4. So I tried to emphasize this timing with my soloing.
